Without a doubt…every month when my period drops, I am CRAVING Chinese takeout! Give me all the fried rice, extra soy sauce, noodles and make it spicy!
I picked out some stir fry beef from one of the farm vendors that I like to buy my bacon & chicken from at the farmers market, so this is how this recipe came about!
Just a tip…
A lot of grocery stores are starting to carry stir fry or thin slices of beef now. I've seen it at Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. My tip is if you don’t see it, ask the butcher at the grocery store what type of beef would be good for stir fry and 9/10 they can shave it in the back!
I’ve used a new york strip before and froze it for a couple of hours then thinly sliced it to create the same effect!
Also, if you don’t want to make it with noodles, totally use white or brown rice!
