Also, key tip for some quick juicy chicken when you kinda don’t have time to cook or you don’t want to think too much about dinner…drum roll please
YOGURT MARINADE!
Yogurt slowly tenderizes protein which results in some juicy tender ass meat! My rule of them is to at least let your yogurt marinated proteins for 8 hours but in a pinch 30 minutes will work too.
I was feeling a bit *bleh after coming back from NYC from all the eating out I did and couldn’t fathom pressing deliver on Uber eats even tho I was exhausted from 10 days away back east so made this instead…and loved it!
Tip #1: now while I have a shit ton of spices to make my own shawarma rub, I did not want to lol so grabbed this Shawarma spice rub from whole foods! They had a couple ones too from various brands!
hot sauce note: I’m not including the hot sauce recipe because I still need to perfect it…I was feeling fancy/experimental lol. So save some time and just grab your fave hot sauce!
