I am obsessed with mussels! If I see mussels on the menu I’m 100% going to order them and make sure they come with a side of fries AND bread for dipping. Also, there is no shame in my game, I am using the mussels shell as a spoon…don’t even give me a fork.
There’s this spot here in LA, called L&E Oyster in Silverlake that has these mussels that I cannot get enough so decided to recreate them…to the best of my ability that is lol.

pro tip: mussels are alive when you buy them so they should be cooked within the day you buy them or the next day. If you are not cooking them day of, put them over ice in the fridge and they will be fine.
