As much as I loveeee a flavored syrup for coffee, it is full of sugar and as I’m getting older I’m trying to limit my sugar intake because diabetes runs in my family.
This vanilla date paste is the best substitute as dates are literally nature’s candy. I use this in my coffees & for fruit dipping…so good! Hope you love!
8-10 mejool dates
vanilla bean paste, measured with vibes
about 1/3 cup date water (leftover water from the dates soaked in water)
a dash of maldon finishing sea salt
Directions
Soak dates in hot water for 15 minutes
Add dates into a deep container for immersion blender or blender
Add date water, sea salt & vanilla bean paste
Blend until smooth! enjoy in your coffee or for a sweet treat with fruit!
